The museum is a vast complex covering about 160 acres, that is built to reflect the history of north central Oklahoma and southern Kansas. We at Fort Cimarron are endevoring to preserve the history of this area by assemilating and displaying the vast wealth of resource material that has hince forth been denied to the people by nat having a home for this material. There has been a great amount of historical material donated to the museum already, and there is a great amount that will be donated. We are hoping to bring the material that has been taken from the area, back to north central Oklahoma.
